I am a late bloomer, but its the right time for it.

So, the question: if I could go back to age 18 and re-run the whole thing over again? Only if I could take my Doctorate in the School of Hard Knocks and Life Experience with me.

Can't go back, except in ultimate fantasy land...but don't be afraid to try to make that fantasy as real as possible.

Going with what I have got, including the baggy eyes and the receding hairline, family history says the hairline probably won't get worse.....guess I could shave it off since that is supposed to be the stereotypical costume of some of my martial artist colleagues....LOL

So yes, I am involved in martial arts which is TaeKwonDo. It won't be eveyones cup of tea. No problem. My senior instructor (she has 31 years experience) after my first class night said: He will never be back. 16 years...still there and not leaving anytime soon.

So.....are we wild-eyed crazy cartoon characters like some of the newer martial arts styles like MMA and ultimate fighting, whatever its called.

We are trained to always try to be the calmest person in whatever the situation is. And we train even 6 year olds to be the same. They do better at that than you would ever believe.

About the one I'm looking for...
Who I am looking for? There are lots of you out there, who take care of themselves in all ways,active in an endless listof things, all deserving my respect. Anything that keeps you active and that you love enough to keep doing it. Raising kids and grandkids, thats an event in itself. Would love to share whatever it is for you!

Someone who does not believe that high school was the high point of life and that its all downhill from there. Or if it was that way, you don't want it to be any more. Often, the script that our modern culture writes for us says that at age 30-35, we are supposed to start talking about our aches and pains, and become "semi-elderly" ....yes even at that calendar age. Some of the aches and pains are real, absolutely, but some are self-imposed.

I want someone who gets that. ;-) Love the idea of someone who has a family or community that they are involved in, I do and am adopted by my daughters in-laws as part of their family, how cool is that?

Someone who is active, loves what they do and wants to tell me about how their day was. But need to have the ability to shut it off too.
At a certain part of the day, just BE. With the person who will have become my best friend, like my parents.

I'd just like to add...
As much as I love the Black Hills, I would relocate for the right person.
