A little about me...
I am a 58, divorced with 2 grown sons (35 & 21), I'm an RN and work in an area ICU Unit - 3 twelve hour shifts per week.Currently working night shift as a matter of preference. Planning on retiring in October and just working part time. Born in SC and lived here all my life. Lived in Charleston since 1961.

I am very family oriented since I have pretty much raised my kids on my own. My youngest son is at an age when he doesn't need or want mom around so much so it is time for me to enjoy some adult compaionship.

I am easy going and down to earth. I like nice things like any woman and want to live comfortably but it does not take fancy clothes and a big house to make me happy. I am a down home southern girl and always will be. While I feel the "best things in life are free" I will not however get involved with someone that is not finacially stable because I have no desire to support a man (been there and done that).

About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for a casual relationship and see what develops from there. Being honest and thrustworthy are of upmost importance to me. I am very trusting until I have reason not to be. If you are looking for a perfect woman and relationship keep looking, there is no such thing. I tend to see the good in people more than the bad and I want someone that will not take advantage of that. If I commit to a relationship you will not find anyone more loyal and giving. I am and have always been very independent so he must not be controlling nor do I want a man I can control. I would like to find a soul mate (someone I can trust heart and soul) to enjoy retirement with and grow old together. I do not mind kids at home and grandchildren would be a plus since I don't have any yet!

I'd just like to add...
I love oldies and country music (to listen to and dance to). I watch Lifetime on TV, comedies, and news. I am currently slowly renovating my home. I grew up in this house and it needs some updating. I also like gardening although I am not that good at it. My kids have been my life for many years (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Bowling, Band, Football). My youngest is at the College of Charleston.. He lives at home but has his own interests now. My hobbies are scrapbooking, and researching my family's geneology.

I am a bit overweight right now so if you want a slim, fit, and athletic woman then move on. I am on Weight Watchers right now and half way to reaching my goal. I prefer to meet someone who would encourage me in my pursuit of slimming down and firming up.
