A little about me...
I am passionate about the following things: The Lord, my family, my friends, childrens issues, politics, education, fairness, beautiful clothing, writing my book, and men with blue eyes. I wonder if one could really write a clear view as to what they were all about in 1500 words or less. I guess you could break it down to the years on earth thus far and give it so many words per year. Smiles..Or you could spout out statistics blah blah blah...but I know I dislike reading that information myself and hope that someone else would find that rather boring. And then there is the wanting to keep some of this mysterious but then the potential partner might misconstrue that as hiding something rather than the old fashioned simply leaving some things to be discovered...So here goes my idea of a personal statement ...I am true to myself as well as others, I have a sense of humor, sometimes bordering on comedy club routines with usually bringing about lots of laughter. I believe in smiling lots of smiling. They are either going to wonder what it is about or it will catch on (read just the other day that its actually a known medical fact that it is contagious. Geez could have saved them the time on that one...smiling here.

About the one I'm looking for...
I want to share a story that I heard on NPR one morning as I was driving to work. The show was about soldiers with head injuries and what they face in overcoming issues when being sent home... A wife of one of the soldiers told her story as follows: "Before my husband left for the Gulf he was a good man, but not an out going man. He did not communicate his feelings about things easily. I knew he loved me, but sometimes when we would ride to work in the morning we would pass a field of flowers that I gazed out of the window at ...secretly longing for the day that he might give me a bouquet of beautiful flowers just like the ones by the side of the road....When he went into the war I was frightened for him and myself and I did not care if he came back the same non verbal guy he had been before going I just prayed he came back alive.... When I was told that he had been suffered a severe head injury I did not know what to expect..... We have together gone through a long hard road of rehabilitation and he has experienced a lot of anger and is very irritable...but he was alive and with me again so I did not care.... One day as we were driving along that same road way ..there were the flowers that we had passed by so many times before

I'd just like to add...
Lets use some imagination here....
How about a game of scrabble only using words that describe yourself...
Or a long harley ride bring a blanket a cold bottle of champagne and stop along a lake to talk
Dancing would be so much fun...especially slow dancing or just having fun dancing fast...ya dont have to be Fred Astaire ..here is a cute quote to remember "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but she did it backwards and in high heels."
Visit a vineyard and walk along wine tasting ..so much more relaxing then sitting around drinking coffee...and I am positive you can open up about yourself easier....
Just use your imagination....
Let me meet your Mother (lol) I know that is like some sacred thing....but I am telling you Mom will shed a really good light on you before anyone else would....smiles..Moms always want the best for their little boys....smiling again..
Dinner is great but its even better in a basket by the river..
Now if you are not my prince charming with my slipper and turn out to be yet another toad with an attitude...and I am not your princess then if we have done any of the above ..we have had fun and that is what it is about right? Geez guys its called a DATE...stop taking it like a life end
