I am new to Washington D.C. from Arizona. I am a health care clinician but have come to D.C. to work on health care reform. It is probably easier to say what I don't like to do. I love to go out to dinner, to the theater, movies, travel, skiing, hiking. I love the outdoors. I am a broad minded person that likes to converse on a global level about issues that impact people on a humanistic level.

My passions begin with my 3 kids who are getting more independent each but keep me running, always! I also love being a Montessori teacher and learning so many things about our world with my young students. In the summer. I truly appreciate down-time at the beach (in the summer) and time to do relaxing things or absolutely nothing. I suppose I seek a lot out of life and so I constantly look for new experiences.

I just finished my circumnavigation in my sail boat. I still own the boat and plan to live part of the year in DC and part of the year, mostly the winter, on the boat. I love adventure traveling but also enjoy intellectual activity such as reading, attending lectures, classical music, films and live theatre. I enjoy good conversation of books I read, things I do with my time, laughing at some of the things I do with my time, and spending time with my adult grand children. I am occupied with basketball doing the season and attend games in town plus I travel to games out of town in support of my granddaughter who plays. When the season is over I enjoy opera and dance ( I like dancing also), mostly at the Kennedy Center, sometimes at George Mason (they have very good opera). I play or am learning to play the panio and am having a blast at it. Bach is my composer and most of what I learn he wrote. I like other theatres in the area and attend when there are plays or other performances I want to see. I like siting in my backyard under the cherry tree when it is in bloom and even at times when it is not. I generally keep a nice garden in the back yard, but I have planted so much in my postage stamp size yard that it can be overgrown. Having friends over for dinning and sometimes just cocktails and snack is generally a good time. Walking around the corner to a neighborhood restaurant is delightful with neighbors and friends.

I have been dancing for about a year and try to dance at least once a week...mainly WCS or ECS...a little cha cha and nightclub. I especially like listening to and dancing to modern country music and most current pop. (No country western or rap.) I have a flexible schedule and can travel anywhere to meet the right girl.

In my past I have been a workaholic, I was selfish...(Never married and No kids)...it was hard not to be selfish. I had the attention span of a 3 year old...lol. I was addicted to speed, loved driving too fast and could often be seen riding one wheel on my motorcycle. In between street racing and jumping out of planes, after several broken bones and failed relationships! I decided that I couldnt keep going like this! In the last 9 months of my life I have made dramatic lifestyle changes. I don't work as much, I don't drive as fast and I keep my bike on two wheels!
